Rental Terms and Cancellation Policy
How booking, billing, cancellation, delivery, damage and storms work for every porta potty and restroom trailer rental. Plain language, no fine print. Questions? Call (228) 261-9696.
Booking and payment
You book by phone at (228) 261-9696 or by sending the quote form and approving the itemized quote we send back. The quote lists the unit, rental length, delivery, pickup, servicing, any rush fee and tax. The total on the quote is what you pay. There is no fuel surcharge.
We take all major credit and debit cards. Approved businesses can be invoiced. Multi-unit orders to one site pay one delivery charge.
Event rentals and monthly rentals
Event or short-term rental: one flat price for up to 7 days. Delivery, pickup and a clean, fully stocked unit (toilet paper, hand sanitizer, deodorizer) are included. Event units are not cleaned during the rental unless you add a service visit. Units are usually dropped the day before the event and picked up the next business day, at no extra charge.
Monthly or job-site rental: billed every 28 days, counting from the delivery day. Each cycle includes weekly service. There is no long contract. See long-term rentals for examples.
Renewal and how to stop billing
Monthly rentals renew on their own every 28 days. Units are not picked up automatically, because many jobs run longer than planned.
To stop billing, call (228) 261-9696 at least 2 business days before the current 28-day cycle ends. We schedule the pickup and no new cycle is billed. An event rental ends on its scheduled pickup date; to keep the unit longer, call before that date for a price on the extra days.
Cancellation
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. Call (228) 261-9696 to cancel, and any payment for the cancelled order is refunded.
A cancellation less than 24 hours before delivery is not free. Call as soon as you know, and we tell you what, if anything, is owed before the order is closed.
Rescheduling and changes
You can move the delivery date, change the drop-off spot, add units or swap unit types. Call at least 24 hours before delivery. Changes depend on truck and unit availability for the new date, and the quote is updated before anything changes.
Delivery windows, access and failed trips
Deliveries and pickups run Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We promise the day, not an exact minute. You can request a morning window. The driver calls or texts about 30 minutes before arriving. You do not need to be home.
The truck must be able to park within about 25 feet of the unit. Give us gate codes and tell us about low wires, soft yards, parked cars or narrow gates (a standard unit needs about 4 feet of gate width).
If the driver cannot reach or safely place the unit, we call you to sort it out while the truck is there. If the delivery cannot be finished and a second trip is needed, we tell you the price of that trip before it is scheduled.
Placement responsibility
You choose the spot and mark it with a cone, flag or ribbon, or text us a photo or pin. The spot must be firm and level. On sand, we set the unit on a leveling pad and stake it. Please don't move a unit after it is set; if it must move, call first so service and pickup can still reach it. The placement guide explains good spots.
Servicing and extra service
Monthly units get weekly service: pump-out, cleaning and sanitizing, fresh toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and new deodorizer. Extra service visits can be added to monthly rentals and to multi-day events. Extra visits are quoted before they are scheduled.
Pump-out service for RV and holding tanks is available on request.
Damage, loss, tipping and vandalism
The renter is responsible for damage to the unit beyond normal use. That includes tipping, fire, vandalism, theft and loss while the unit is on your site. Normal wear is on us.
If a unit is damaged, tipped or missing, call (228) 261-9696 right away so it can be serviced, swapped or replaced and the site stays safe.
Locks
A lock or hasp is free on request. Ask when you book. Leave the key or code where the driver can reach it so service and pickup are not blocked.
Weather and hurricanes
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30 (NOAA). When a named storm threatens the Coast, we contact customers to pick up or tie down units. Pickups and service visits may move a day or more for storms or flooding; we call you when that happens. After the storm, we bring units back for cleanup crews.
Units on windy beach sites are staked or anchored when they are set.
Pickup
Event units are picked up the next business day after the event. Monthly units are picked up after you call. Please leave the unit unlocked or leave the key, with a clear path for the truck. If the unit cannot be reached on pickup day, we call to set a new time.
Tax-exempt organizations
Send your tax-exempt certificate to info@gulfportportapotty.com before delivery. Sales tax is then removed from your quote and invoice.
Questions and disputes
If a charge or a service visit doesn't look right, call (228) 261-9696 or email info@gulfportportapotty.com with your order details. The owner reviews it and gets back to you. Hours and address are on the contact page.
