What comes inside a standard porta potty?
Every standard porta potty has 5 things inside: a toilet seat, a urinal, a hand sanitizer dispenser, toilet paper and a roof vent. The translucent roof lets in daylight, so the unit is not dark at midday. A free lock is available on request for job sites and overnight events.

Will a standard porta potty fit through my gate?
A standard porta potty is 43.5 inches wide, so the gate needs to be at least about 4 feet wide. Two people carry the unit, which needs a little extra room for hands. Measure the narrowest point on the path: the gate, a side yard, or the gap between a fence and an AC unit.
- The truck must park within about 25 feet of the unit so the service hose reaches it.
- Set the unit on firm, level ground. Sand spots get a leveling pad and stakes.
- Tell us about gate codes, low wires and soft yards when you book.
The porta potty placement guide covers slopes, sand and how far from the house to put the unit.

Do you need an event rental or a monthly rental?
Pick an event rental when you need the unit for up to 7 days. Pick a monthly rental for a job that runs 4 weeks or longer. Event units arrive stocked and leave the next business day. Monthly units are billed every 28 days and get cleaned every week.
| Event / short-term | Monthly / job site | |
|---|---|---|
| Rental length | Up to 7 days, one flat price | Billed every 28 days from delivery |

How is a standard porta potty cleaned on a long Gulfport rental?
A monthly standard porta potty gets 1 service visit each week. The driver pumps out the tank, cleans and sanitizes the inside, restocks paper and sanitizer, and adds fresh deodorizer. Crews of 10 or more on one unit, or long summer weeks, can add a second visit.
Event units do not get cleaned mid-rental unless you add a visit. For an all-day or two-day event, ask for a service visit between days.
When is a standard unit the wrong pick?
A standard unit is the wrong pick in 3 cases: guests expect a sink, the event is open to the public, or the restroom is for a wedding. Add a hand-wash station or deluxe unit for food. Add a wheelchair-accessible unit for public events. Consider a restroom trailer for weddings.

Standard porta potty questions
Does the standard one have a sink?
The standard porta potty has no sink. It has a hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall. If guests need to wash with water, add a hand-wash station or choose a deluxe unit with a sink inside.
Does it have hand sanitizer?
Every standard unit has a hand sanitizer dispenser, filled before delivery. Monthly units get the sanitizer refilled at each weekly service visit.
What's the cheapest porta potty you have?
The standard unit is the lowest-priced option. For a party or weekend event, a standard unit typically runs about $150–$225 with delivery and pickup included. That range is typical, not a promise; the quote lists every line before you pay.
Is there a light inside?
The standard unit has no electric light. The translucent roof lets in daylight. For an evening event, set the unit near outdoor lighting or hang a battery lantern nearby.
How many people can use one standard porta potty?
One standard unit serves about 50 guests for an event of up to 4 hours, or 40 guests for 4 to 8 hours. A small crew can share one unit for a week with weekly service. The porta potty calculator gives your exact count.
Can I get a lock on it?
A lock or hasp is free on request. Tell us when you book, and the driver brings the unit with the hasp ready for your padlock.
Can I move the porta potty after it is delivered?
Ask us before moving a unit. Moving it yourself is at your own risk, and tipping damage is billed to the renter. The service truck must still reach it within about 25 feet, so call (228) 261-9696 and we can move it for you.
