Can we provide restrooms for an event on Ocean Springs city property?
We cannot. Ocean Springs requires organizers of events on city property to use Waste Pro, the city's contracted restroom vendor. That covers city parks, streets and downtown public spaces. We serve everything else in Ocean Springs: private lawns, churches, businesses, weddings, private events and construction sites.
Events on private land
The city still requires a permit for many larger events, and portable restrooms unless enough accessible and standard facilities are nearby. Apply at least 60 days ahead; insurance is due 4 weeks before. The fee is $75, or $25 for nonprofits.

What private events in Ocean Springs book restrooms?
Private Ocean Springs rentals are mostly weddings, backyard parties and business lots during big downtown weekends. The Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, held the first full weekend of November, drew about 150,000 people in 2025. Shops and homes near downtown book their own units 1–2 weeks ahead.
- Weddings: Gulf Hills and bayou-front lawns suit a restroom trailer with a level spot, a 110V outlet and a hose. See wedding restroom options.
- Mardi Gras house parties: 2026 parades rolled January 31 and February 13. Plan 1 unit per 50 guests for up to 4 hours.
- Business lots on festival weekends: a unit on your own lot, with a lock, keeps customers out of your shop restroom.
What Ocean Springs construction sites do we serve?
New subdivisions, home remodels and commercial builds on private land are open to us in Ocean Springs. A house build needs 1 standard unit with weekly service. Larger crews follow OSHA: 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers, or 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers above that.
Monthly units bill every 28 days with weekly pump-out and restock. Units in new subdivisions go near the street on firm ground. See the construction porta potty page or the monthly rental page for remodels and septic repairs.

Ocean Springs porta potty questions
Can I rent from you for the Peter Anderson Festival?
Restrooms for the festival grounds on city property go through the city's contracted vendor, Waste Pro. We can deliver to private homes, churches and businesses on their own property that weekend. Book early; the first weekend of November fills up.
I'm having a party at a park in Ocean Springs. Can you deliver there?
City parks are city property, so Ocean Springs requires its contracted vendor, Waste Pro, for event restrooms there. Contact the city about the permit and restrooms. For a party at a private home, hall or church, call us.
Do I need a city permit for a wedding at my house in Ocean Springs?
A wedding on private land does not always need a city event permit, but large gatherings, street use or amplified sound can. Check the city's special event permit page first. We deliver the restrooms either way.
How quickly can you deliver to Ocean Springs?
Delivery comes the same day when a truck is routed nearby; otherwise it arrives the next day. For a set date, book a day or two ahead. Event units arrive the day before the event.
Do you deliver to Gulf Hills and St. Martin?
Gulf Hills, St. Martin and Gulf Park Estates are all on our Ocean Springs route. They are private property for this purpose, so the city vendor rule does not apply.
