Restroom trailer or deluxe porta potties for your wedding?

Pick a restroom trailer when the venue has a 110V outlet within about 100 feet and a garden-hose spigot. Pick deluxe flushing units when there is no power or water, or the only flat spot is sand. A trailer gives guests china toilets, sinks, mirrors, lights and A/C.

Restroom trailer

Flushing china toilets, sinks, mirrors, lighting, A/C and heat. Needs a level spot, a 20-amp outlet and a hose bib. See stall sizes on the restroom trailer rental page.

Deluxe flushing units

Foot-pump flush, a fresh-water sink, soap and towels. No power or water needed. Details on the deluxe flushing porta potty page.

How many wedding restrooms do you need for 50 to 300 guests?

Most receptions run 4–8 hours with a bar, so plan 1 unit per 40 guests plus 1 per full 100 guests for alcohol. A 150-guest wedding needs 6 deluxe units, or a 3-stall restroom trailer. If a guest uses a wheelchair, add 1 accessible unit or book a trailer with an accessible stall.

Unit counts use our sizing method: 1 unit per 40 guests for 4–8 hours, plus 1 per full 100 guests when alcohol is served. Trailer sizes are a starting point we confirm on the quote.

What power and water does a wedding restroom trailer need?

A wedding restroom trailer needs a standard 110V, 20-amp outlet within about 100 feet and a garden-hose water connection. No spigot at the venue? We bring a fresh-water tank on request. The trailer also needs a level spot and room for the truck to back it in.

  • Ask the venue which outlet is free. Do not share it with the DJ, the caterer's warmers or a bounce house.
  • Note the spigot location and whether a hose will cross a walkway.
  • Send a photo of the spot with the order so we confirm the fit.

Can you put wedding restrooms on the beach or sand?

Deluxe units can sit on sand. We set them on a leveling pad and stake them against wind, as long as the truck can park on firm ground within about 25 feet. Restroom trailers need firm, level ground, so on a beach wedding the trailer parks on the lot beside the sand.

Harrison County manages 26 miles of sand beach. A beach event needs the county's Beach Event application, which costs $25 (non-refundable) and needs the Sheriff's signature and county approval. The form does not mention restrooms, so confirm unit placement with the Sand Beach Department. Our beach wedding restroom post covers wind, tide lines and lighting.

Booking a beach or backyard wedding?

Send the date, guest count and a photo of the spot. We quote trailers and deluxe units side by side.

Where should wedding restrooms go so they stay out of photos?

Put wedding restrooms behind the reception tent or beside the parking area, never behind the ceremony arch or the sunset view. Keep them within a short, lit walk of the dance floor, and within about 25 feet of where the service truck can park. Mark the exact spot before delivery day.

  • Check sightlines from the aisle and the photo spots your photographer plans to use.
  • Keep a paved or mowed path so heels do not sink.
  • Trailer lights help after dark; add path lights for units.

The placement guide covers slopes, gates and soft lawns.

How do you keep wedding guests cool in Gulf Coast heat?

Gulf Coast July highs average about 90°F, and a plastic unit in full sun gets hotter inside. A restroom trailer runs A/C, which matters most for guests in suits and long dresses. With deluxe units, place them in shade and face the doors away from the afternoon sun.

Heat also speeds up odor. For a long summer reception, we add extra deodorizer to each unit.

How far ahead should you book wedding restrooms in Gulfport?

Book restroom trailers 3–4 weeks before the wedding, and deluxe units 1–2 weeks ahead. Spring and fall wedding weekends book up first, and early October overlaps Cruisin' the Coast week. Free cancellation runs up to 24 hours before delivery, so booking early carries little risk.

We serve weddings across the Coast, including beachfront venues in Long Beach and Pass Christian.

Wedding restroom questions

Do you rent the fancy restroom trailers for weddings? What's the price for a weekend?

Restroom trailers rent by the weekend, not by the day. A weekend typically runs about $1,200–$3,500, depending on stall count and distance. Prices move with dates and distance, so the written quote is the number that counts.

How many stalls do I need for about 80 guests?

A 2-stall restroom trailer usually covers about 80 guests at a reception of up to 5 hours. With an open bar or a reception past 8 hours, step up to a 3-stall trailer.

Will the trailer be hot inside for a July wedding?

Restroom trailers have A/C and heat. The A/C runs off the 110V outlet, so the outlet must stay free for the trailer all evening.

What if our venue doesn't have water?

We bring a fresh-water tank on request, so the sinks and toilets work without a spigot. Power is still needed for lights and A/C. Without power, choose deluxe flushing units instead.

Is the price per day or for the whole weekend?

Wedding restrooms are priced for the whole rental. Units arrive the day before the wedding and leave the next business day, with no charge for the extra days.

Can I see what the inside of the trailer looks like?

Photos of trailer interiors are on the restroom trailer page. Call (228) 261-9696 if you want to ask about a specific stall layout.
