How does 28-day billing work on a monthly porta potty?
A long term porta potty rental is billed every 28 days, starting on the delivery day. Each cycle includes 4 weekly service visits. The unit stays and the next cycle starts automatically until you call for pickup. There is no long contract, so a 3-month septic job costs 3 cycles, not a year.
| Cycle | Dates covered | Weekly service visits | Call by this date to end the rental |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Wed, Oct 21 – Tue, Nov 17, 2026 | 4 | Fri, Nov 13 |
| 2 | Wed, Nov 18 – Tue, Dec 15, 2026 | 4 | Fri, Dec 11 |
| 3 | Wed, Dec 16, 2026 – Tue, Jan 12, 2027 | 4 | Fri, Jan 8 |
What happens at each weekly service visit?
Once a week, a driver pumps out the tank, cleans and sanitizes the inside, restocks toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and adds fresh deodorizer. A 4-person household using one unit every day for a month stays clean on that schedule. Add an extra visit when guests or a work crew are around.
- The driver sets a regular weekday for your stop.
- You do not need to be home if the driver can reach the unit.
- Leave the gate unlocked or put the gate code on the order.
How do you stop a monthly rental before the next cycle?
Call at least 2 business days before your 28-day cycle ends. In the example above, a call by Friday, November 13 ends the rental after the first cycle. Monthly units are not picked up on their own, because remodels and septic jobs often run long.
Put a reminder on your phone for the call-by date when the unit arrives. Contractors who run the same sites all year can use the construction porta potty rental page for crew counts.
Is a 3-day job cheaper on event pricing?
A job of 7 days or less is usually cheaper as a short-term rental. The short-term price is flat for up to 7 days and includes delivery and pickup. A 3-day bathroom tile job fits that plan. A 2-week remodel fits one monthly cycle, because it includes weekly cleaning.
| How long you need it | Book it as | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| 1–7 days (bathroom swap, short repair) | Short-term rental | Flat price, delivery and pickup, a clean stocked unit; no mid-rental cleaning unless added |
| 8–28 days | One monthly cycle | Weekly pump-out and restock, about 4 visits |
| More than 28 days | Monthly, renews every 28 days | Weekly service until you call for pickup |

Where does a porta potty go at a Gulfport house?
Most homes put the unit at the end of the driveway or beside the garage, on firm, level ground within about 25 feet of where the truck parks. A backyard spot works when the gate is at least 4 feet wide. Keep the unit away from the trench a septic crew will dig.
- Driveway edge: easiest truck access and no lawn ruts.
- Side yard: needs a 4 ft gate and room for two people to carry the 43.5 in wide unit.
- Soft lawn after rain: pick the driveway instead.
Full tips are in the porta potty placement guide. A family using the unit daily may prefer a flushing unit with a sink.

Can you pump an RV or holding tank while the septic is being fixed?
RV and holding-tank pump-outs are available on request. Families living in an RV during a 2- or 3-month septic replacement often pair a pump-out schedule with a porta potty. Call with the tank size and how often it fills, and we quote both on one order.

Monthly porta potty questions
If I only keep it 3 days, am I charged the full month?
Book a short job as a short-term rental: a flat price for up to 7 days, with delivery and pickup included. A standard unit typically runs about $150–$225 that way. Only a monthly booking bills the full 28-day cycle. Ranges are a planning guide; the quote we send has the real total.
Do I have to call for pickup, or will they just come get it?
Monthly units stay until you call (228) 261-9696. Call at least 2 business days before the cycle ends, and billing stops on that cycle.
What's your monthly rate for a porta potty at my house?
A standard unit on a monthly rental typically runs about $165–$225 per 28-day cycle, with weekly service included. That is a typical range; your itemized quote is the final price.
Why is the first month more than the next months?
The first bill includes the delivery line. Later cycles are rental and service only, and pickup shows on the last bill.
Is there a contract?
Monthly rentals have no long contract. Each 28-day cycle renews until you call for pickup.
Can I get an extra cleaning when family visits for the holidays?
Extra service visits can be added to any monthly rental. Call a few days ahead so the visit lands before your guests arrive.
